Dance together, experience live music, and enjoy the afternoon
On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the AWO Shooting House in Straubing will transform into an open meeting place for dance enthusiasts, music lovers, and people who simply want to spend a sociable time. The dance afternoon with live music is part of the inclusive educational program MITTENDRIN and invites everyone to dance together in a relaxed party atmosphere or to listen to the sounds.
Live music and real dance floor atmosphere
From 14:00 to 17:00, a musician will provide the right sound. The focus is not on the perfect dance step, but on the shared experience: listening to music, moving, enjoying familiar rhythms, and making new connections. Those who want to dance will find easy company; those who prefer to listen will experience just as enjoyable an afternoon.
Inclusive club experience without barriers
The offer is aimed at anyone who enjoys music and movement. It does not matter with whom you dance or whether guests come alone. The space is barrier-free, providing the best conditions for an accessible and friendly togetherness.
An afternoon for music, encounters, and good mood
The MITTENDRIN program combines cultural participation with personal encounters. Between live music, dance, and conversations, a relaxed atmosphere is created where community becomes tangible. The course is led by Irene Ilgmeier.
Important information for visitors
No registration is required. A fee of 5 euros in cash is requested for the live music. Good mood, a desire to dance, and money for drinks should also be included in your bag.
