Trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophone, and flute set distinct accents while bass, drums, guitar, Hammond, keys, and synthesizers form the rhythmic foundation. This creates a live atmosphere that combines funky warmth, soulful timbre, and jazzy playfulness.
Rooted in Straubing since 2011
funkAlarm made its debut on December 27, 2011, at the Straubinger Raven. Since then, the band has been part of the regional music scene and has been experienced on club stages, city festivals, and festival events. Their own motto aptly describes the musical approach: B-sides with hit potential, away from the always identical cover music, energetic, funky, soulful and always danceable.
Experienced musicians with their own signature
The lineup includes Klaudia Salkovic-Lang and Thomas Mäx Müller on vocals, Steffi Kreilinger on alto saxophone, flute, and vocals, Stefan Lang on trumpet, flugelhorn, and vocals, Bernd Zrenner on guitar, Herbert Hutterer on keys, synthesizer and Hammond, Jochen Benkert on bass and vocals, and Andi Bieniek on drums. The members bring experience from different bands, sessions, and musical projects.
