Malteser Hilfsdienst gGmbH Straubing | Address & Imprint
The Maltesers in Straubing are much more than an entry on a map. They represent a regional office of a nationwide networked, Catholic-oriented aid organization that combines volunteer work, professional staff, and social responsibility. For 60 years, the Maltesers in Straubing have been there for the people and connect traditional aid services with everyday support for various target groups. This is very clear on the location page: An image of the office provides orientation, along with specific information about courses, counseling, social offerings, and contact methods. Those looking for photos, address, imprint, or the most important services will find here the central point of contact for Straubing and the surrounding area. Especially because the page does not appear like an event location, but rather as a reliable office with a clear mission, it is particularly helpful for seekers: It answers not only the question of where the Maltesers are located but also what they actually provide in the city and district. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing.html))
Address, Contact, and Location of the Maltesers in Straubing
The official location page lists for Straubing Johannes-Kepler-Straße 11a in 94315 Straubing. The Maltesers can be reached by phone at 09421 55060 and by email at kontakt.straubing@malteser.org. This is important for visitors because it allows them to clarify address, contact, and directions in just a few seconds. Additionally, the location overview of the Maltesers in Bavaria identifies Straubing as the district office and thus visibly integrates the office into the regional structure. This combination of local accessibility and clear integration into the association makes the page so valuable for everyone searching for the location. The official presentation also works with a location image and images from the individual services, which facilitates the first impression and makes the place visually tangible. So, anyone looking for photos of the Maltesers in Straubing will at least find a serious, official entry point into the representation of the office on the website. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing.html))
For users specifically searching for address, imprint, or regional responsibilities, the page is deliberately structured factually. The Maltesers in Bavaria not only mention the Straubing district office but also show how the state association is structured: In Bavaria, the Maltesers are present in many locations, and Straubing is part of this network. This is particularly helpful for location-based inquiries because the place does not appear isolated but as part of a robust aid organization with clear structures. Those looking for reviews should know that the official website primarily focuses on facts, contact, and service overview, rather than a classic review presentation. That is exactly why the appearance seems trustworthy: It directs attention to the essentials, namely the concrete help on site, and not to marketing effects. The central question here is not only where the Maltesers are but how reliably they can be reached in Straubing and which services are organized directly from there. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/regensburg/alle-standorte.html))
First Aid Courses, Medical Service, and Disaster Protection
Among the most prominent topics on the Straubing page are first aid courses, medical service, and disaster protection. This combination shows that the office not only provides social support but is also strongly anchored in practical emergency preparedness. Those interested in courses will find at the Maltesers in Straubing an offer for refresher and further training in first aid. At the same time, the Maltesers provide medical services for events and thus secure situations where many people come together. The service page explicitly states that medical care at concerts, sports festivals, and major events is one of the fixed tasks in Straubing. This is an important signal for organizers, clubs, and event planners because a qualified medical service is relevant not only for precautionary reasons but also for the planned safety of an event. Disaster protection complements these tasks and makes the Straubing office an important part of the local security architecture. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing.html))
In a broader context, this fits very well with the role of the Maltesers in Bavaria. There, the Maltesers list as focal points, in addition to rescue and medical services, disaster and civil protection, as well as training in first aid. Straubing thus does not represent an isolated offer but a local manifestation of a statewide important aid network. This is practically relevant, especially for events: Anyone planning a concert, a city festival, or a sports event needs reliable contacts, clear processes, and teams that can respond quickly in an emergency. The Maltesers in Straubing position themselves here as an experienced service provider with a volunteer-oriented deployment culture. This mix of training, readiness, and real operational practice is particularly strong for inquiries related to medical services because it does not remain abstract but refers to concrete help in the city and surrounding area. Thus, a picture emerges of an office that is just as present in emergencies as it is in the preventive organization of events. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/bayern.html))
Senior Work, Café Malta, and Care Services
Another focus of the Maltesers in Straubing is on supporting older people. The location page emphasizes that the visiting and accompanying service brings light into the everyday lives of lonely people and volunteers accompany older individuals at home or in a facility. This is not only about practical help but also about closeness, attention, and genuine care. The Maltesers clearly describe that these visits create space for personal needs, life stories, and current well-being. This is precisely what gives the social value of this offer: It is not a standardized service product but a human form of accompaniment. So, anyone looking for a contact person for senior work in Straubing will find here an office that combines everyday proximity with empathy. Additionally, the Maltesers contribute with their care and relief services to ensuring that older individuals can stay at home for as long as possible and that family caregivers are noticeably relieved. This is a central point for many families because support starts where daily life actually takes place. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing.html))
This approach becomes particularly visible in Café Malta in Straubing. There, people with early-stage dementia can come together in small groups and experience a reliable, recurring program in a pleasant atmosphere. The Maltesers describe this offer as a structure provider that conveys security, creates community, and enables joy. For those affected, this is important because rituals and familiar processes can provide stability in everyday life. For relatives, this means a noticeable relief because they gain time for a few hours and know that their loved ones are in good hands. The visiting service for people with dementia sensibly complements this offer because specially trained volunteers regularly come to the home and provide individual support. Straubing thus vividly demonstrates how broad senior work is organized at the Maltesers: from open meeting points to home accompaniment to relieving family members. Anyone looking for a robust, human-friendly, and everyday-oriented support offer for older people will find here a particularly strong local point of contact. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing/dienstleistungen.html))
Transport Service, Emergency Call, and Support in Everyday Life
The Maltesers in Straubing think of help not only as emergency assistance but as support in everyday life. This is very clearly reflected in the transport service, household-related services, and emergency call. The transport service brings people to medical appointments, official visits, outings, or visits with friends, thus taking on a task that decides mobility and participation for many affected individuals. It is important that it is not just about pure transportation but also about care before, during, and after the trip. Additionally, the Maltesers assist with applications when cost coverage through health insurance or social services is possible. This makes the service not only friendly but also practically helpful and bureaucratically relieving. Especially for people with limited mobility, this is a crucial help because routes that others can complete spontaneously can quickly become a hurdle. In Straubing and the surrounding area, the transport service thus creates real participation instead of just being a means of transport. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing/dienstleistungen.html))
The emergency call complements this support by providing security in one’s own four walls. The Maltesers describe the emergency call as available around the clock and as help when it really matters. A fall, a fainting spell, or another acute situation can quickly lead to insecurity in old age; the emergency call alleviates some of that fear and strengthens the feeling of being able to live independently at home. Additionally, household-related services are offered in Straubing as practical everyday support. Shopping, cleaning, laundry, changing bed linens, taking out the trash, or running errands to the pharmacy and post office are typical tasks where the Maltesers provide support. This creates a comprehensive picture of support that goes far beyond classic care concepts. It is about closeness, reliability, and ensuring that people can retain their familiar environment for as long as possible. Anyone looking for a robust, human-friendly, and everyday-oriented aid offer will find at the Maltesers in Straubing an office that is strong at this point. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing/dienstleistungen.html))
Open Disability Work, School Accompaniment, and Psychosocial Emergency Care
The Straubing Maltesers also have a wide range of offerings for people with disabilities and families with special support needs. The Open Disability Work offers leisure, meeting, educational, and relief opportunities for people with disabilities and their relatives. It is aimed at individuals who still live at home or independently and is responsible for the city and district of Straubing-Bogen. Particularly important is that the Maltesers not only organize hourly individual care in the family-relieving service but also offer group activities, holiday measures, and a free counseling center. This creates a network of practical help, personal counseling, and social participation. For seekers, this means: Those in Straubing needing support in everyday life, leisure activities, or relief for the family will find here not an abstract brochure but concrete contact persons and clearly defined responsibilities. The combination of counseling and direct care makes this offer trustworthy and immediately usable. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing/dienstleistungen.html))
The Straubing office is also well-equipped in school accompaniment and psychosocial emergency care. School companions support children, adolescents, and young adults with intellectual, physical, or mental disabilities in schools, kindergartens, and daycare centers to help them manage their everyday lives as independently as possible. This is important for families because educational, social, and organizational questions come together here. In addition, the Maltesers are involved in the Malteser Youth, which conveys values such as responsibility, willingness to help, tolerance, respect, and dignity. When it comes to crises and stressful events, psychosocial emergency care plays an important role: it helps those affected process accidents or emergencies and thus supports beyond mere medical assistance. This mix of youth work, participation, promotion, and crisis intervention shows that the Straubing office is not only specialized in a single area but covers various life situations with suitable offers. Thus, a local address becomes a real social hub that is useful in very different situations. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/standorte/straubing/dienstleistungen.html))
Maltesers in Bavaria: Structure, Reach, and Imprint
The classification of the Straubing office becomes even clearer when looking at the overall organization. The Maltesers in Germany describe themselves as a Catholic aid organization and as a provider of stationary facilities in the health and social sector. At the same time, they are represented as a registered association and as a non-profit GmbH at more than 700 locations nationwide. Within this association, the Maltesers in the non-profit GmbH combine a large part of their social entrepreneurial services, including rescue services, patient transport, transport services for people with disabilities, outpatient care, as well as the nationwide emergency call and meal service. This is relevant for Straubing because the local office does not act alone but is embedded in this larger structure. In Bavaria, the Maltesers are present at 125 locations, employ around 7,000 staff, and rely on about 9,000 volunteers. This makes it clear that the work in Straubing is part of a powerful system that combines regional proximity and organizational stability. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/ueber-uns.html))
The official imprint also fits this picture: The Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. based in Cologne is the legal core of the association, and the organization explicitly points out its non-profit status. For users searching for imprint, official responsibilities, or the connection between e.V. and gGmbH, this is an important orientation. The Straubing office is thus not an isolated outpost but a clearly designated district office within a regional, professionally organized network. This is particularly valuable for inquiries regarding address, imprint, photos, services, and regional assignment: The answers are not fragmented but bundled at a serious source. Those visiting or contacting the Maltesers in Straubing are thus moving within an organization that provides solid local help while resting on a large, sustainable structure. This combination of proximity and reach is one of the strongest reasons why the office remains so relevant for the city of Straubing and the region. ([malteser.de](https://www.malteser.de/impressum.html?utm_source=openai))
In the end, it becomes clear: The Maltesers in Straubing are a reliable address for people seeking help, orientation, and concrete support. The page bundles the most important information about location, contact, services, and regional classification, making it quickly clear what the office stands for. Whether it is about first aid courses, medical services, senior work, emergency calls, transport services, or support for people with disabilities, the offerings are close to everyday life and oriented towards real needs. At the same time, the Straubing district office is firmly anchored in Bavaria and the nationwide Malteser network. Those looking for a serious, social, and practice-oriented institution in Straubing will find here a strong point of contact with clear language and a clear mission.
Today's appointment for a conversation regarding volunteering was completely missed, no cancellation via email or phone. No alternative contact person on site.

I suspect that the training room where our first aid course took place is just a temporary solution. The entrance was hard to find, the toilets were freezing and moldy, and the storage and material room right next door doesn't make it very inviting.

Response to Ms. Drechsler: Dear Ms. Drechsler, thank you very much for your feedback. We are very sorry that your impression of our facilities is so negative. Countless volunteer hours have gone into our new training room, which we - the Maltesers - have invested and continue to invest on weekends, evenings, and days off. We are a non-profit organization, which is why we rely heavily on the personal commitment of each individual, even for internal renovation work. We regret that we have not yet been able to address all "construction sites" since moving into the new rooms at the end of December. I can assure you that the deficiencies you mentioned will be resolved promptly so that our course participants feel comfortable and well taken care of. Your feedback is appreciated as it helps us grow. Perhaps you will give us another chance to reconsider your review after you visit our finally completed facilities after the cosmetic repairs? Until then, all the best for you and God's blessings. Your Malteser Training Team Straubing
